West Coast Reduction Ltd (“WCRL”) continues its commitment to support our employees and their families. We are excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for our fifth year of the Family Education Scholarship Program.

Application Period July 2, 2025 to August 1, 2025 for the upcoming 2025/2026 post-secondary academic year.

Eligibility

The WCRL & WCRU Family Education Scholarship Program provides ten (10) annual scholarship awards valued at $1500 each to the eligible children of West Coast Reduction Ltd. & West Coast Reduction USA employees.

Applicants to the program must meet all the following criteria:

  • Be a child of an active, full-time, permanent employee of WCRL with at least one (1) year of service with the Company as of July 2, 2025.

  • Be entering into or already enrolled in full-time post-secondary studies in a degree, diploma or apprenticeship program that is a minimum of two (2) years in length. No scholarships will be awarded for applicants in graduate level studies and/or professional degrees (law, medicine, etc.).

  • Be attending an accredited public educational institution within Canada.

  • Be under the age of 25 on September 1st of the Academic Year the application is made.

Selection

  • As per HR Statement of Policy and Procedure 3.12 – WCRL & WCRU Family Education Scholarship Program applicants who have not received a scholarship award in a previous year will be entered in our first random draw.

  • Should there be less than ten (10) eligible applicants who have not been a previous year’s scholarship award recipient, a second random draw will be held to award any remaining scholarships to applicants who meet the eligibility criteria and received a scholarship award in previous years.
