Rendering is the recycling of animal waste material

Protein waste material (raw material) produced by the food processing industry from farm to fork is recycled by the rendering process into rendered finished products which have a wide variety of uses.

The rendered finished products produced by recycling protein waste material (raw material) fall into two main categories. These two categories are oils and meals. In addition to being used as animal feed ingredients, the two main finished product categories are used in a variety of agricultural and industrial applications.
