Tallow

Tallow is the fat extracted from animal tissue in the normal rendering process. Tallow can be stored for extended periods without the need for refrigeration to prevent decomposition, provided it is kept in an airtight container to prevent oxidation. This finished product can be used as an energy source for animal feed or used in the manufacture of soaps and oleochemicals.
